Pictured is the simplest style of pressure discharged pump out plug. Other versions can be high temperature using Aflas™ O-ring seals with a brass insert. Some can be with a long bevel to assist wireline tools re-entry into the tubing string. Pump out plugs can also have mule-shoed bottoms. The standard pump out plug has an aluminum insert, 2 Viton™ O-ring seals, and brass shear screws.
